Allagash Brewing Company is dedicated to crafting the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world. Best known for our flagship beer, Allagash White, we also enjoy aging beer in oak barrels (beginning with the launch of Curieux in 2004) and spontaneously fermented beers (beginning with our traditional Coolship in 2007). Come up and visit us - we'd love to show you around.

Great beer!

Very good beer. Many Belgian styles with unique flavors. Really enjoyed the one that had ginger in it. Free tasting too!

My wife and I stopped in and I have to say this place is great! Not only are they super friendly and outgoing but besides the tip it's free! We tried 6 different beers each and some of them were great and others were really good but moth get was bad. Really worth checking out I highly recommend this place

100% recommend adding this to your Portland visit itinerary! The tour is about 45mins-1hr long. We made reservations online for 2 approx 2 hrs prior to going. Arrive about 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour. When you walk in, you sign in, get your lanyard tour passes, and then head to the bar for a free tasting of their... More

We went on the tour because our daughter and son in law said it was a good one. I don't drink, but I found the brew story very interesting and you can tell they take pride in what they do. They provide plenty of opportunities to sample their beers. The tour was free, you did need to reserve a spot.... More

We were here today. Pleasant surprise. When you walk in they give you a token which you exchange for a free tasting of 4 of their brews including a detailed decription of each one. It was a Sunday around noon and the place was crowded. The staff were very nice and answered all of our questions about the brewery and... More

If you like the unique flavors of allagash beer and want some free beer, then go. The brewery tour was average and the crowd was mostly 20 somethings. We don't get the high rating on tripadvisor. It was nothing special.

The passion the owner has put into this brewery can be taste in every sip of beer. We booked into one of their free tours and sampled different beer that they brew in house. Everything is clean and crisp made from Maine's own Sebago lake water. One word to describe it...delicious.

We arrived several hours before our reservation and asked if we could get on an earlier tour. Luckily, they had room for 2 more. You are given safety glasses or asked to put on your own eyewear. There are also headphones so you can hear the tour guide. The tour was interesting, but even with headphones it was difficult to... More

We did not sign up for the tour online (but you should)! They set us up with a tasting right away and said we could wait for the next tour. Devin was our tour guide. He did a great job. He knew what he was talking about and seemed so passionate about the company. The tour took about 45 minutes... More
