Allagash offers Belgian style beers, most famously their White Beer. I recommend starting with the tour rather than the tasting room. (Book online before going.) The tour takes an hour and you'll be given 4 tastings. This way you'll get the know the range of...More

Call ahead and set yourelf up with the tour. You get four to taste during the tour itself. And you can stay after and hang even during winter. Dog friendly. Can be a pain if staying at the waterfront. So give yourself extra time to...More

We did the brewery tour and Dan did a great job explaining the process of brewing and amazing amount of facts and figures. Also got to sample great tasting beer. Recommend this tour to Beer Lovers!

My son is more into the wide variety of beers than me. He loved every pour. If you are a craft brew person, this is your go-to place in the Portland area! We would visit again for sure.

Definitely bring food to Allagash, I recommend Noble if you're into barbecue! Noble is within walking distance, but maybe pick it up on your way to the brewery.
