The sign above the entrance says it all- "Celebrate the Mundane". Did you ever lose a cover to an umbrella? Mayhaps it ended up here, at the Umbrella Cover Museum, holder of the Guinness Book of World Records title of largest unique umbrella cover collection...More

The best part of the exhibit is not the umbrella covers, but the stories connected the umbrella cover. Stories of wedings in foreign countries, stories of hurricanes, stories of adventures gone astray -- all stories celebrating the mundane.

I stopped in to take a look at the "Worlds largest umbrella cover collection" and was mildly amused. The woman who collects the covers and runs the museum is a interesting person with a lot of energy and passion about umbrella covers. If you find...More

What a blast this museum proved to be! Nancy's tour makes her one of the most charismatic docents I've ever known and her knowledge of umbrella covers may be seen as mundane, but it's to be celebrated. Stop in and sing with her - be...More

This is a one of a kind place. The owner is a hoot. Hopefully she will sing the song of her museum. What fun! Near everything.

A quirky spot to visit the owners enthusiasm makes the trip worthwhile. There is no fee but we made a contribution as it was worth the entertainment value

We didn't like this, however it is something that others might enjoy. Its not an umbrella museum, but an umbrella cover museum. The little cloth thing that the umbrella goes into that you just usually toss in the back of your car or whatnot after...More
