Went on Saturday and most everything is closed! There is nothing to do on the Pier. I don’t know if it is time of year(mid-sept) or Covid that has things closed. It was gorgeous weather, but nothing to see on the Pier. Too bad all of those enclosed spots are built on there. We would visit OOB again, but skip the pier.

The Pier has a few casual places to eat and have a drink. We were able to take our puppy along with us, so it was relaxing to enjoy. For a view of the ocean, go to the pub / bar at the very end of the pier, and there is a narrow outdoor deck where you can sit at a table to eat and have a drink in the sunshine.

My family and I visited during Covid. Not many people wearing masks. The pier is very dirty. Might be more fun if you could partake the in bar scene once the virus calms down. The historic pier is pretty though.
