This is a very nice beach however, the least expensive parking is $2.00 per hour, to use their public restrooms there is a $.50 per person charge. Amusements, food and beverages are overpriced. Something is wrong when a person can go to a top ten...More

Beautiful beach. Very crowded in summer. The boardwalk is pretty cool as is the amusement park. It is just too crowded in the summer to be able to really enjoy it but love the excitement in the air.

The name of this town describes it to a tee..."OLD". Although tourists pour in every season & obviously spend money that money doesn't seem to go towards any updates to the beach area.

I've been going to OOB most of my life, love the beach. Enjoy walking the beach every day multiple times a day. Seen many live crabs and sand dollars this year.

Yes, you may before 10AM and after 5PM. 10-5 are the busy times on the beach so there are way too many people to make it enjoyable for either you or the pup. You'll need a leash for the pup. There's also the Eastern Trail... More

Usually the water temp is mid-upper 60's by end of July. It's upper 40's at end of May. Tops out in the low 70's by end of August. It's never truly warm. Maybe 73F if it's been a hot summer. It's never truly warm.

There are quite a few right on the beach and directly across the street (30 steps). It really depends on how much you want to spend and what you want. I booked the Copley LaReine Motel this year. It has fantastic views... More
