The streets were somewhat clean, and the people were altogether nice. Certainly had its share of T-Shirt/Novelty Shops, but honestly, what beach town doesn't!

Fantastic beach with tons of room for kids to play, especially as the tide went out. The further you go from the pier, the less crowded it is. Great for taking long walks. Beautiful sunrises in the morning. Just enough waves for kids and adults...More

Usually the water temp is mid-upper 60's by end of July. It's upper 40's at end of May. Tops out in the low 70's by end of August. It's never truly warm. Maybe 73F if it's been a hot summer. It's never truly warm.
