My family was not interested in another of the usual New England lobster boat trips, so I suggested the Cricket. My wife and father-in-law are experienced sailors and loved the idea. The captain turned out to be an accomplished sailor with a deep knowledge of the coast and the community. We had a long, informative discussion while he deftly steered us through the chop, along the coast, between the rocks, and into the cove. As a pleasant afternoon on the water, the trip is not to be missed, but keep your eyes on the easygoing athleticism of the captain's saling!

My husband was adamant to get in a sailing trip during our visit. I on the other hand REALLY (REALLY) don't enjoy boat rides did I mention REALLY don't like them?!?! Well that being said I am happy he made me take a journey on the Cricket. Yes, I took my trusty Dramamine and was a little nervous as we started to leave the Cove. Captain Grant was wonderful at assuring complete safety and knowledge of the vessel! Once out it proved to be a tranquil and picturesque voyage with the added bonus of seeing some porpoises swimming amongst the waves. To be honest I didn’t want to head back in to shore, I could have sat out there enjoying the sea for hours. SO NOT like me!!! Would 100% recommend it!

We wanted to show our new daughter-in-law the area. This sailing trip turned out perfect. Small group on the boat, very relaxing and Captain Hubbard was perfect.

I loved this sailing trip with Captain Grant. He grew up there and has been sailing and operating boats since he was little from what I gathered. He is so knowledgeable and you get a very personal tour. Also, it is very few people on the boat, which makes it extra special.
The route is scenic and gorgeous. You learn about nature, some animals as well as Grant's inside scoop on what it is like to live in Maine, if you want to know.
The tour was great and Grant made it extra special.
I highly recommend it on your trip to Maine.

Captain Grant took us out on his refurbished lobstering boat for the 4pm ride, and we had an incredible time. Capt. Grant knew everything going on in Ogunquit, both with the local people and the terrain, we sailed by cliffs, and a small cove, getting an entirely new view of the city and water. We could see our hotel, and the Ogunquit Art museum, which we later went to.
This boat ride was the absolute highlight of our trip! My family and I had a wonderful time, sailing with Captain Grant was a real treat, he is a marvelous sailer!

We recently took a sail on the Cricket and had a blast! We were a family of 5 so we were able to sail just us and the captain as there is a seating limit of 6(plus the captain). This was the first time we were on a true sailboat and my three kids had so much fun! Captain Grant was great to sail with. He was very knowledgable of the area and made us feel very comfortable out on the ocean with him. I got a little seasick and he was very helpful! A wet rag to the back of the neck did the trick! All in all it was a great sail.

I've been coming to Ogunquit for years and have always wanted to go on a sail boat. When I asked a few of the local lobsterman which boat we should book with, they all said the Cricket.
This was such a nice laid back excursion with an intelligent personable host. the captain was amazing and very informative.

Thanks for an amazing adventure and for showing us our first seal in Ogunquit

My husband and I have been sailing with Captain Grant H. at least 20 times, if not more. Today was the most recent. Just a very relaxing enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. Grant has many years of experience and is a local, so he is able to answer all questions, as well as ably navigate the narrow channels.
Our perfect afternoon was sailing with Grant today.

A perfect, relaxing day sailing with Captain Grant. He was a perfect sailor and very knowledgeable about the area. He's a foodie as we are and after a perfect day of sailing sent us to a perfect lunch spot. A perfect relaxing day. Thanks Grant.

Four of us joined Grant on his sailboat for a few hours of pure joy on the water. It was a gorgeous morning and the wind was perfect. Grant handled the boat expertly, while telling us the history of the area. Although we are not new to the Ogunquit area, Grant talked about buildings and areas that we had never visited. And, on Grant's recommendation, we went to M.C. Perkins Cove for dinner - a perfect way to end a great day. We had a fabulous time, and just got a bit wet!
