This is the first place we go to when we arrive in Ogunquit. We can't wait to have a lobster roll and these are the best around. They are expensive but worth it because they don't use any fillers, all lobster meat. Have to eat it right away. Last year we bought one right before we left to eat on... More

This is a lovely beach in Ogunquit. In the fall it is not very busy and a nice place to hunt for sea glass.

My wife and I spent the week in Ogunquit last week to celebrate our anniversary. Our condominium was within easy walking distance to Footbridge Beach and we took advantage of it. Since we were there in the fall there was plenty of parking available. It was quiet and secluded the days we were there. We walked the broad flat sandy... More

I own a beautiful painting of the footbridge, for the memories over 20 years of coming home from Buffalo,to many to say!! It is the only way to get to mother Ocean,up and over ,sea roses and sand dunes with grass adorn your arrival...like stepping up into paradise!!

My favorite beach. It's a hidden gem. Not too crowded and clean. There are public restrooms with a snack shack and the parking is great.

My friend and I just spent three days in Ogunquit and came to this place at the Perkins Cove end of the Marginal Way. People were waiting in line to get into the handful of restaurants next door, but why? This place is a simple shack: you step up and order, and they give you your food. There are some... More

My husband loves to walk from this beach to the Ogunquit beach when we visit the area. Very wide and sandy. On a sunny day take a book and a sand chair and enjoy watching the tide come in ( or out). Or you can fish off the footbridge in the Ogunquit river.

We stayed at the Footbridge Motel and visited this beach twice daily. It is a protected beach and kept beautifully. Salt marshes, dunes, sand and water are at its best. The piping plovers are the protected birds, and we could see them feeding at the edge of the ocean in the morning but not in the afternoon during low tide.... More
