We came to this beach at the beginning of May, so it was too cold to go swimming. It was not crowded at all. The beach was great to walk along and we saw several different birds, including a bald eagle. I recommend bring binoculars. We will definitely be going back.

Beautiful clean beach. Parking was $4/hour or $25/day. There are bathrooms halfway from the foot bridge to the beach. The beach is a long stretch of beautiful open sandy beach (no buildings) and connects to beach houses on the north end. I was there September 17, 18, 19 (2021) After peak season, the weather was still very summer like with cool nights and there wasn't a crowded beach!

Footbridge Beach is within walking distance if you stay in places close to the beach, but not if you're bringing multiple items (chair, umbrella, etc.). You can park in their parking lot which costs a couple dollars an hour. It's a beautiful sandy beach and a great spot to swim and boogie board.

We were pleased to find a parking spot at around 10 am at Footbridge Beach. The beach is nice and wide so you could sit close to the water if you weren't staying too long ...otherwise high tide would innundate you! Nice soft sand and a wooden walkway all the way to the beach.

Great beach but like all the others, you need to watch the tides. The bridge also can be slippery with sand but there is a railing when you go up or down to the beach area over the dune. All the way down by the hotels, someone did great sand art! Also unlike Wells where parking is free until Memorial Day, Ogunquit starts in April - October. We unfortunately thought they were the same and got nailed with a $62 ticket.

This is a beautiful footbridge to the beach. But I’m finding Ogunquit is not pet friendly. Plus steep prices for parking. $200 fine for taking your dog across the bridge to the beach. I could understand a fine if you didn’t pick up after your dog or it was unleashed.

Trying to locate Ogunquit beach via GPS, which lead us to a neighborhood. So we tried Foodbridge beach instead which is adjacent and with a public parking lot.

Parking is free off season (October). Easy walk over the wooden bridge to the beautiful beach. Just beautiful, wide clean soft sand. Could walk miles along the water.

Very dog friendly and even bikes on the beach.

Great stretch of beach. Couldn't believe people were going into water on on 70° September day, but pretty busy. Lots of people in beach chairs and such a great spot to watch the water. Be aware, dogs allowed at this time of year.

Footbridge Beach was beautiful. The waves were kind of high the day we went, but they were so pretty. We enjoyed the sound of them crashing on the beach. It wasn't very crowded and we liked that. I gave 4 stars because the walk from the parking lot was VERY long and kind of narrow. It was hard carrying 2 beach chairs, a cooler, etc. We forgot our umbrella, and the sun was so strong. Don't forget something for shade.

For me, this area was quieter than Ogunquit Beach. The clear waters and beautiful views were a plus. It was mentioned to me by a local resident that this beach was once named #1 beach in the U.S. by Rolling Stone magazine.
