About
Sail Me is a sailing tour company, located in Ogunquit, Maine. Each sail is conducted by Captain Will Hargrove, owner/operator, and graduate of Maine Maritime Academy. Sailing trips last 1 1/2 or 2 hours, departing from the town dock in Perkins Cove, Ogunquit. Sights may include Bald Head Cliff, the Marginal Way, and Ogunquit Beach.

The first time I sailed with Sail Me, I sat in the main bench area with the other folks on board that morning, which allowed for swapping stories and easy conversation. But my second sail with Sail Me was my favorite. This time, I was a little bolder and sat up on top, eventually laying along the railing and letting the boat rock me gently. It was so relaxing, and I felt so safe under Captain Will's steady hand. First Mate Libby was absolutely delightful and had so many great recommendations in the area and fun facts to share. Highly recommend!

I had a perfect sailing experience with the Sail Me yesterday. I felt safe, even as the boat heeled in the breeze, and well cared for by Captain Will and his crew, Libby. I'm a writer, about to write a chapter about two teens who don't know much about sailing going out in a small sailboat to sail along the coast of Maine to a distant shoreline. I was there to ask questions and experience sailing under comparable conditions. Captain Will and Libby were so helpful! The two other guests and I sat in the cock pit and conversed with the crew for a congenial hour and a half as we sailed up and down the coast. Magical experience. I had the best time! Would do it again.

On July 13, 2024 in the afternoon, I boarded SailME as the only customer. I had the best charted Sail experience ever! Will and his mate even let me take a turn at the helm, for which I am forever grateful. I soaked up every moment and enjoyed chatting with the crew about oceanic life, thus, no time to stop to take any pictures. My heart will always be filled with joy thinking back on such an amazingly-beautiful-divine -intervention kind of day!

A stunning sailing trip out of Perkins Cove with Captain Will and first mate Jimmy. The views along Marginal Way were breathtaking, and the prevailing winds took us on a smooth journey out to sea. We loved the real estate and historical tidbits they shared. They were incredibly accommodating with our 3-year-old grandson. Highly recommend this adventure!

It's hard to describe the joy we felt on our recent trip. Captain Will's friendly, calm, and confident demeanor at the helm was complimented with his seasoned skills as a sailor during our booking.
My friends are unsteady on watercraft, and while they dreaded the possibility of this anxiety complicating our booked excursion, we couldn't have been more fortunate to have a captain like Will by our side every step of the way. Whether it was his penchant for cracking jokes with his subtle yet welcoming sense of humor, or his ability to share his knowledge of seamanship with us, one gained from a lifetime on the water, captain Will's steady hand at the helm sailed us into a two hour trip that will last a lifetime in our memories. Ogunquit Bay, Perkin's Cove, and the Marginal Way have views that one never forgets, and seeing them from the water gave us views we will never forget. My friends are begging their friends and families to come back and sail with this team again, and we don't blame them one bit.
A wise man once said that the ocean speaks to all of us, but only a few hear what she has to say, and even fewer return her conversation. Captain Will is one of these people. We will be making a trip with Sail Me, OGT an absolute essential part of our summer from here on out. We're hooked, Will- we can't thank you enough, and can't wait to sail with you again!

I went on my third sail with Captain Will, amazing experience every time!! On a gorgeous day in Ogunquit, this is the perfect way to spend the afternoon. Captain Will is so professional, knowledgeable, and truly makes sure everyone has a great trip. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a beautiful, relaxing time on the water to check out Sail Me!

My family engaged Sail Me for a 3 hour charter during a visit to Ogunquit last Labor Day weekend. We arriver at Perkins Cove early Saturday morning and received a warm and friendly greeting from the owner Captain Will. He welcomed the four of us aboard and asked if we had done much sailing-we had not. He assured us that it would be very safe and a lot of fun-he was right. Captain Will was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He explained how the boat and sails worked and invited us to be hands-on in sailing the boat. Captain Will answered all our questions but also exhibited a wonderful "gift of silence", speaking only at the right times and allowing us to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the rocky Maine coastline.
I would highly recommend Captain Will and his boat, the Sail Me to anyone wishing to sail the waters off the Maine coast.

Spectacular Sunset Sail. The boat is beautiful and very well maintained. Captain Will and Libby were a lot of fun, friendly and engaging. The captain was extremely knowledgeable about the operation of the boat. The crew were very informative about local points of Interest and landmarks. Congenial atmosphere and conversation with the other guests on board. Will be back next year!

We have been on many sailboat trips but it’s was one of the best. The captain was expert at creating a smooth sailing experience despite unsettled weather conditions . His crew was engaging and informative. A beautiful and relaxing morning was had by all on the boat.

Beautiful sunset cruise. As I sailor myself I really enjoyed this trip. I can also appreciate someone that knows what they are doing. This is my second trip with Sail Me. The captain and his mate expertly handled the operation of the boat. The boat was comfortable for the six of us. The conversation was congenial. Two hours passed quickly. Arriving back into the harbor at dusk through the drawbridge was a special treat not to be forgotten.

I don’t recall the exact $ amount but I do recall it was very competitive. It was certainly good value for money. Will was also very accommodating with the schedule, taking account of the tide of course.
