The talk was excellent and lots of interesting facts about brewing and the history of the brewery. Trevor was excellent in respect of keeping it interesting and witty. However, this is a very modern brewery in an old setting. The bar in the old brewery was quite a nice setting but I couldn't help feeling nostalgic for the old brewery.

Our tour guide, Mikey was delightful, very informative for only his 5th tour. The young lady behind the bar, Rachel, was very pleasant and very cheerfully knowledgeable. The young lady in the shop, Molly, was very hard working and all staff seemed to give off an air of being well looked after by their employer. What a thoroughly enjoyable morning!... More

We went here on the spur of the moment for our lunch. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. They have a limited menu but there should be something for everyone on there. Since they have had their revamp the seating is much better gone are the very long tables and smaller tables are in use. Great... More

Easy to find In a nice village with ample parking. The bar area is attractive warm and comfortable. Then it goes down hill Video and a rushed explanation to a group of paying customers some of whom could not hear. A lot of explanation but little to see.other than large stainless steal tanks.

Well worth a visit to one of the countries biggest producers of bottled Ales. The 2hour tour was excellent, with an engaging guide. Very informative and involving throughout. Once the tour is finished, there are the usual offerings of a gift shop and restaurant. It really is a hidden gem. If you like your Ales, this is a great place... More
