- Brenda J3 contributionsRestful afternoonThis beach is one of the only swimming beaches in the area. Young people were enjoying the water, but we preferred to sit in chairs and watch the tide come in. It was relaxing. There is a port-a-potty available and restaurants close by as well as craft shops we enjoyed visiting.Visited July 2021Written July 25, 2021
- Tiffany AOpp, Alabama1,860 contributionsGreat little stopGreat beach spot right next to Lobster Pound restaurant. My first time seeing a beach north of MD and this did not disappoint if one is expecting rocks. There was plenty of sand but also a lot of beautiful rocks. A few benches.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 15, 2023
- BarrieLewisSummerfield, Florida14 contributionsFrom Lincolnville to IslesboroSoooo relaxing. The beach is small, but there are restaurants and shops worth visiting. Local art and crafts across from the beach. Beautiful view. Family friendly area with something for everyone. The restaurants on the beach offer outdoor dining on patio or at picnic tables in addition to indoor seating.Visited September 2019Traveled with friendsWritten May 28, 2020

Read in a "things to do" guide that you could find beach glass at this beach. Not a one. There were some smooth and nicely colored rocks if you're into that kind of thing. It was raining pretty hard when we were there so we were the only ones there and did not stay long.

It is a sandy beach located on the highway, complete with several restaurants. One can easily spend a day here on vacation in the area. Nearest town is Camden where lots of tourists flock in summer.

Stayed in a Airbnb through Evolve in a Oceanfront Lincolnville Studio Balcony facing the beach that's directly across from it.
The studio was clean, spacious and had everything you needed to cook with in the kitchen. The balcony has a great view of sandy Lincolnville Beach which is right across the two lane road. There are multiple restaurants/bars within a 5 minute walk and gift shops. This is a quieter town but if you want more liveliness you can drive about 10 minutes to Camden where they have all the boat excursions, restaurant/bars and shops.

This was a nice little, clean beach right beside the road. It was a nice diversion on our drive down from Milbridge. There are no changing areas but they do have port-a-potties. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and some touristy shops across the street. Parking is free but a four hour max.

This is a great stretch of sandy beach, and would be a nice spot for kids to enjoy playing. Great spot for adults to sit and admire the bay too.

Nice sandy beach right on US Rt. 1 in Lincolnville Maine. Free parking and small crowds making stopping at the Lincolnville Beach a must do if you are traveling the Maine Mid-coast. The view is wonderful.

Great little beach with plenty of room and free parking. Being from R.I. and visiting our crowded beaches and difficult parking, we appreciated the 5 minute drive to the beach. When the tide went out we collected a cooler full of sea clams just lying on the shoreline. A little more rocky than we are used too. Bring your clogs!

Stopped at Lincolnville Beach to have fresh lobster and walked around bit. Very quiet, very nice place to spend a few minutes and to have a great meal. Didn't try sitting on the beach or going into the water. A few quaint shops and (of course) ice cream will complete the experience.

Loved walking along the shoreline seeing all the beautiful rocks, watching the boats and the birds. A little too chilly for me to go swimming, but it didn’t stop others!

Does anyone know if dogs are allowed on the beach in the summer?
