A bit of the beaten path, but well worth a stop. Excellent German inspired wheat beers with something for all tastes. Rustic craft brewery in woodsy setting with great beer and a nice outside beer garden. Food truck on site offering German fare was surprisingly good!

It is in a remote location, but well worth the stop. Excellent wheat beers and a number of wild ales too. We don't see those very often. They also have a nice outdoor space.

We were surprised at the number of people here as we felt we were in a pretty remote spot but after experiencing the brewery we can understand why! We really enjoyed our beers (my husband and I each did the 5 tasters) and my daughter loved her ME root beer. Friendly atmosphere, good for hanging out. A few games and books for kids. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.

The Gneiss Brewing Company is a great spot to grab a growler to go, or a pint to enjoy on premises, year round. They focus on Germany style beers, and nice change of pace from the IPA dominated world we now live in (Jan 2019). I've been here many times, and the expansion of the tap room has not diminished the cool vibe of the place. In the summer, there are picnic benches you and you friends/family can hang at while drinking a light Weiss, play some cornhole or just watch the pigs roam around the nearby pen. In the winter, the interior space allows for groups to interact in a great backwoodsy environment. It's off the beaten path, but well worth the trip!

I have never been disappointed. Friendly, good service, great beer. The new building surprised me, but is understandable with their growth.

After seeing an advertisement for Gneiss Brewing at Libby and Sons, Jen and I knew we had to go. The route we took, we almost hit a pot bellied pig, but I won't hold that against the Brewery. The beer is delicious. This is certainly a place I recommend making a special visit for. Do it. What are you waiting for? Put down your phone and go. Seriously, you have a problem, go to Gneiss!
