Bicycling in the area and needed some cold water to refill bottles so stopped in. What a surprise inside--an old time market with sandwiches and cold beverages--could even buy just one bottle of beer (which we did!). A little bit of everything you might need--the store fronts the street--behind it is a restaurant and a working marina. If you have... More

This store was behind my grandparents home in Kittery Point, Maine. My grandfather was a lobster-man and lived right on the water for several years. Frisbee's Market was a store I went to almost daily during the summer months while visiting my grandparents. This store still looks the same with view changes. A really neat place to visit!

Frisbee's Market closed several years ago from bankruptcy. After being vacant for some time, Enoteca Kittery Point opened in its building.

What a wonderful little secret tiny Kittery Point is harboring! A tiny hamlet in the southernmost town in Maine, the market sits across from the tiny post office and the one restaurant in this part of town. Behind the market is the picturesque harbor with its fishing pier and plentiful boats. The store itself is a place where one feels... More

I went to Frisbees Market last week-end and I truly enjoyed Mr. D'Amico's hospitality once again. He loves his job, is in his 80's and it is a true testament that you can work as long as you "Love what you do!!!!" and Mr. D'Amico is a fine example of that. He makes an awesome sandwich and I just love... More

If you are looking for a sandwich, bottle of wine or beer, soft drink or simply to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, while traveling the SeaCoast area, you have found the right place. Sign outside says "World's Best Sandwiches." Stocks a good selection of wines off the shelf or from the cooler. Stop by, take a look around,... More

The best ever sandwiches made to order. The wine tastings could be more organized and offer a comprehensive selection. We miss the old-style country store atmosphere.

This is a very old school market. Little to choose from but a very nice deli and wine selection. This is the oldest family owned market in the country, est.1828. Check out the old photos on the wall and it is said that Mark Twain use to walk the same floor that is still there today! Behind Frisbess is a... More

It used to be a Market where the local children would come buy candy. Local families would order groceries and might even have them delivered by boat (if you lived on the water). Many moons ago visitors would dock their boat on the many public moorings and walk 100 yards to stock up at the Market. Today you are presented... More
