We stopped in on a cold December, rainy day while staying in Portsmouth. Not much to do during the covid times, but this was open and we needed an umbrella! Well that was just about the only thing we couldn't find. We were able to knock a few gifts off our christmas lists. There is so much to look at! You could spend hours there. Make sure you have a phone on you incase you and your spouse seperate!

We drove to Kittery to return an item and the one store we needed open was closed. We did stop at Bass Outlet for their 75% off sale. The store also had a buy one item at the regular price and get four free. The sale signs were confusing along with the sale description told to us by one of the clerks. Several shoppers requested a refund or changed their minds when they heard the end price. I prefer to shop in a store that doesn't twist the words to make you think you're getting a bargain. Maybe these sale tactics are what's putting them out of business.

Stopped here twice ,going north and when returning home.Simply love this place. Great spot to pickup some inexpensive gifts for friends and love ones. Unique redecorating throughout the store. When we visited they had the large outdoor tent filled with very good clearance items. Not to be missed if your in the area.

We were in York and returning home, as we have always done before (several years before) stopped at Kittery Trading Post. In the past we have always been impressed, but this time we were very disappointed with the pricing structure. Many of the winter coats were marked down 50-70%, which made them look reasonable, but when compared to the original price, this seemed to be inflated before the discount. We had seen similar costs else where at the discounted price, being the original price, not the discounted price. We are disappointed at we did want to purchase jackets, but walked away without anything. Things are normally more expensive here, but this does not appear right.

I needed to upgrade my skis. Ski tech (Mike) was extremely knowledgeable on skis, type of skiing I was doing and overall products. Friendly staff all around from the greeter at the door to the techs. My visit went above and beyond my expectations. I live in town and shopped several other places but best deal was at ktp. And this isn't speaking bad of other places just ktp went above and beyond. Would I recommend this place. Absolutely 👍

Always drive by while traveling, but today we stopped in. Loved it ! Wished I was alone and had more time. My only complaint was it seemed they weren’t checking how many shoppers were in the store at once even though there was a guy checking the door , and they Did Not stop people from entering without a mask on

When we planned our Popham Beach vacation (at a beach cottage) in Maine, I was wondering where to find postcards, because since 2019 I noticed that it's getting harder and harder to find any, no matter if this is in Hollywood, CA, or in Europe. There are less places that offer them.
So I called the Kittery Maine Welcome Center and they recommended to stop at the Kittery Trading Post.
Not only did we find plenty of beautiful postcards there, we also found 3 Maine calendars for 2022 for our house.
Other than that this is a clothing store comparable to L. L. Bean.

Outdoor sports enthusiast? This is the place for you. Not ginormous like LLB but it offers a wide variety of outdoor goods from kayaks to fishing equipment and supplies to camping, hiking and biking plus several lines of casual and sports wear. Stalk is friendly, helpful and professional.

We hadn't been to The Kittery Trading Post in several years and decided to go a few weeks ago. We had such a good time and found all the items we were looking for, a pair of lined Carhartt work pants, The On The Water Angler's Edition for 2020. A great FLYCATCHER brand shirt and favorite wool socks.
The sales people were friendly and very helpful. Some interesting displays to view too.

My husband is a 2nd amendment guy so I found this gem for him next to outlets for me. Such a cool place with a huge selection. Tent sale was amazing. I got a six pack of Haines socks for 4.99, men"s cargo shorts for 12.99, and a Maine sweatshirt can't remember price but it was a good deal.
Friendly staff and the checkout line is Covid set up with plastic sheets.
