The outlets are too spread out, not one stop. Some bargains, depending on where. Too bad there isn’t a guide showing where they are all located as it’s hard to find specific ones in that busy road.
I’ve been to other Simon outlets in Clinton Ct, Vacaville Ca and Wrenthem Mass that far exceed the Maine experience. The Kittery trading post is good , lots to offer but not necessarily an outlet. I’m sure the pandemic impacted many stores closing and staffing

I hadn't been to the Kittery Outlets in 30 years, so we came up for an end of summer trip to Maine. First I should say that the second day we were there it poured rain, so that affected our trip. I found the outlets crowded, but also a bit run down and with numerous empty stores. Many of them were closing early or opening late due to staffing shortages. We also drove between outlets and there was a ton of traffic. It seemed short on restaurants as well. We live near to Wrentham outlets in MA and when we travel to see family, we frequent the Napa, CA outlets and the Neptune, NJ outlets. Any of those I would prefer over Kittery, I'm sorry to say.

Outlets are not what they used to be really anywhere in the country. Some stores were empty which is always sad to see. This outlet is spread out in multiple locations which makes it a bit difficult to find a store that you want to visit. I bought a great fleece jacket at Columbia (always one of my favorites) and my husband found 2 pair of shoes at Ecco (another favorite). So we felt it was worth a visit.

If you’ve ever been to the Wrentham outlets in Massachusetts, or Woodbury Commons in NY, you will be completely disappointed by this sad collection of outlet stores in Kittery. These are little pods of stores scattered along Rt 1 in completely separate strip malls that you must drive between … not a one-stop experience at all. Very few bargains and a substandard shopping experience. Find something else to do, even if it’s a rainy day ….

Needed to kill some time before check in on our way to Ogunquit so shopping was a great distraction. Have been to outlets in Ct, Mass, Ca that have similar selections. Some really good buys if you pay attention to markdowns. Caution:must know sizes in some cases you can’t try on due to Covid. Had great luck in Hanes, Loft, and Bass. One downfall is they are a bit spread out so you need to drive from plaza to plaza. Could spend a whole day at the Kittery Trading Post alone! Don’t forget Yummies candies—they have all your favorites from when you were a kid and beyond.

The economy has really hit this outlet mall. Alot of empty stores since my last visit over 5 year ago. However great selection and find in many stores to shop. Hope they rebound since it is reliable and I look forward to visiting again.

If you want to shop for real things - clothes, shoes, etc. rather than tourist trinkets, take time to visit. They have a ton of stores with a great selection and good prices. During Covid, we had to wait outside, but not for more than 5 minutes.

We travel to Kittery at least once a year and usually in January. The winter sales are great if you get there by the 2nd week of January.
There's something for everyone, including a Black & Decker shop for my husband and the Kittery Trading Post to satisfy all of his hunting, fishing, camping, and general outdoorsman needs and wants! You can drop your husband off there and go shop to your hearts content and meet him later for a great seafood dinnner! It's a great change of pace after a hectic christmas, when you need to just get away and buy something that you wanted but didn't get. Everything from shoes & clothes to dishes, pots & pans to vitamins! I recommend it to anyone!

We went to the Maine to do some shopping on the March Break. We accidently came upon a place called Kittery and it was the greatest place to shop. It had everything you could think of and then more and it was so cheap. The people in the outlets were so friendly.
The only bad thing is now I find all the things in Canada so expensive. I'M planning another trip with some girlfriends to shop.

First of all, I went on the website to see which stores were dog friendly. Old navy came up. However the minute I walked in with my small dog I was rudely told dogs aren’t allowed. So I let her know that it says on the outlets website that they are. She again with SUCH an attitude told me “Yeah service dogs are”. If that were true you wouldn’t even be listed as being dog friendly because it’s ILLEGAL not to allow service dogs to enter. So that was clearly a lie. The girl was so rude that I honestly never even want to shop at Old Navy again.

Second of all, the outlets are like 10 different strip malls. So you can’t walk around like you can at Wrentham. Wanna go to Express, hop in the car. Oh now you want to go to The Gap? Hop in the car again. Nautica? Thats right, another car ride across the street and down the road.

Express has nothing you couldn’t get in store with a coupon for cheaper and the store was tiny. Boooo
