We had a great time. Captain explained a lot of history of the area & had a good sense of humor. He also got us very close to the Bush Compound and showed us the lobsters caught in lobster traps. First Mate, Chris, was wonderful....letting us hold the lobsters & take pictures...very patient!. The microphone the Captain used on the... More

We took the lobster trip and it was excellent! The crew was friendly and funny! They gave great info on the sights. We saw seals, the Bush's summer houses. They pulled up lobster traps and there was a five pound one which we got to hold. Lots of interesting information on the lobster. The captain also let my daughter drive... More

We took our 2 yr old and 2 mo old. Good length of a trip for kids. Visited one lobster trap (caught 3 lobsters & some crabs). Kids enjoyed holding/petting the lobster and taking turns being captain. Also saw seals and coast. Captain Drew & first mate Chris were great- friendly & sense of humor, and interesting facts of the... More

This is kind of in reply to the "Too Long" review from August 20 2016. We were on the same whale watch with our 5 children. Yes there slight delays in getting started but things happen. We thought the crew were extremely polite, accommodating and interactive with the passengers. Maybe the crew knew you were being sour pusses and tried... More

We're a family of four with two girls under 10 yo. The tour is exactly as described and the crew was terrific - great rapport with we tourists. The lobster trap was a huge hit with the kiddos. We had a wonderful time. We were also staying at the Nonantum, and this tour was a good chunk cheaper than the... More

Captain Drew did a great job narrating the tour and guiding the boat over some choppy Atlantic waters! We watched him haul in lobster traps and saw some females with loads of eggs. He explained why some get thrown back and which coukd be kept. Seal sighting and the Bush compound made for a delightful 1 1/2 hour trip. Great... More

I recently booked the lobster tour for myself and my family. It was raining the morning of the trip so I called to see if it would be cancelled. I was assured it would not be and that they offered indoor seating. There was ONLY a roof. The seats were dripping wet when we boarded the boat. The side were... More

We recently took the lobster boat tour with First Chance. Fortunately, it was a nice day so the seas were calm and visibility was good. The boat is an oversized lobster boat equipped with adequate seating for quite a few people. It was full but there seemed to be plenty of seats. The Captain took us out of the harbor... More

We recently went on the Lobster tour with First Chance and had a great experience. Although it was fully booked the captain and first mate gave a lot of individual attention to the passengers. Everyone got to see the lobsters up close and the captain even let the kids help drive the boat. The captain was funny and informative. Our... More
