Beautiful stone church built in 1892 overlooking the ocean. So glad we took the time to visit, it's not far from the main town. It's free to enter and will only take about 15 minutes to view the church and grounds. Totally worth it if you love churches.

What a beautiful stone church! It was such a serine place. I can’t even express how gorgeous this church was made, from the wood, stones, and stained glass it was amazing. The grounds were just as gorgeous. Definitely stop and see if you’re in the area.

We loved seeing this site in Maine. It’s a gem in Kennebunkport. A unique smell inside of mint proved how historical it was. They put real shells in their stained glass windows. Try to catch a Sunday church service in this unique spot. 8:00 & 10:00.

Beautiful, different looking church, great views! You don't need to be a fan of churches or the Bushes to appreciate this uniquely pretty spot. Very serene and the glass windows in the church are brightly colored. Worth a stop.

I have been to this place several times. It's a very beautiful church with beautiful views of the ocean. I have parked near the church before too inside the grounds. This time, we parked and chose to walk down to Parson's Way and back. Big mistake! When we got back, the gates were closed and we had an angry caretaker to deal with. I apologized profusely, but he was very mean about it. I managed not to get too upset and he finally let me in to get my car out. I won't make that mistake again but reading these reviews it seems that others have had run-ins with him. I did not notice any signs posting the hours of the church or when the gates are locked. It was only when I googled the church and got their website that they mentioned not parking there if you walk past the church or your car will be locked in!

Gate was open on a Sunday morning after the posted service time so we walked in only to be approached by an aggressive attendant who abruptly said "you know we're closed right?" We said "no, we didn't as the gate is usually closed during the service. You need to change the signage because several more people came in right behind us." I apologized multiple times and we left without being able to see the church :(

Had no expectations when we arrived, just had seen it on Trip Advisor and decided to stop. Beautiful stone masonry makes it a unique building. The views of the Atlantic were beautiful. I would recommend not standing on the wall. They had staffers walking around enforcing the rule. There are signs, but apparently I have bunch of rule breaking teens in my family. A 15 minute stop to see what you need to see, well worth it.

So glad I added this to my "possible stops" list for the day of exploring. It feel off my radar and I happened to drive by it- and actually drove past. I turned around and went in "for the heck of it" and it was an absolute highlight of my trip. Not sure I have ever seen a more gorgeous spiritual setting in my life. Take me back.

Have come to this spot for years. Church is sometimes open for tours, but great area to have a picnic, watch the boats come and go or read a book. Always a crowd during high season, but still a peaceful area.

This is a truly an amazing and beautiful church. It was most unfortunate to see that some of the windows were boarded up but i hope this means that there is additional restoration underway. We've seen churches all over the world, but this one had a charm like no other.
