We needed a place to stay in the Kennebunk area and chose the monastery since it would make it easy to go to Mass on Sunday. The accommodations were humble, but comfortable and we had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful, and we thoroughly...More

The outdoor space and structures are interesting as both monuments and as art. A small trail leads from the main parking lot through a wooded area (about a 10 minute walk) with a few more smaller statues of various saints. The two largest structures are...More

An amazing development. The open air shrines are showing wear. The interior of the Monastery is impressive as is the chapel. Our visit was in the middle of the day midweek so the atmosphere inside the main building was somewhat lacking.

Breakfast now includes hot dishes, salt-water swimming pool still is inviting, and available Confession and Mass at the Monastery still welcomes.

If you're in the area, it's well worth going to St Anthony's and taking the walk along the line of the various monuments.

A lovely find a few miles from the beach. I just walked around the grounds and admired the architecture and the sights. I was peaceful and relaxing. There is a small chapel for reflection and prayer.

My only regret here is that I did not get off the trolley and stay for a while. Just a lovely and peaceful place.
