We enjoyed the boat cruise. It's a great way to see the entire lake, which is huge, and take in the fall colors.

We spent four days in Jackman and Moose River and capped the whole thing off with a foliage trip on the Kate as part of our trip home. At the outset, I thought I was going to have to sit inside because it was cold...More

We were disappointed to find that the boat was under repair for a major engine problem. Not sure if it will be back in action before end of summer. Call ahead. No other big boat options around.

Come and visit the most magnificent lake east of the Mississippi on a classic steam ship! The mountains are spectacular and if you want wilderness, this place is like no other!

You probably will not see Moose from the cruise. You're best bet is to book a Moose Safari and a local experienced moose expert will take you on an adventure to see moose. Last year we saw 3 moose, 2 baby bears, and deer... More
