Chocolate

Always excellent chocolate . The variety is large and the chocolate blueberries are wonderful. They also have locally made products.

Must stop for dark chocolate with sea salt. They have tons of chocolate - even chocolate covered blueberries. Had to buy a can of Moxie - soft drink of Maine. Very different than soda we are used to.

Stopped here needing a chocolate fix. Chocolate is great. Peanut butter cups can't be beat. Chocolate good as anywhere in the world. Salesperson extremely pleasant and friendly. She gave us recommendations on local restaurants.

The great variety and picture-worthy nature of this store makes it a must to see, and then buy to gift friends, who will love you more.

We spent a few minutes looking around the store and bought a few chocolates. The nice smell in the store is a bonus for sure. The large $200 bunny is impressive. Would be fun to buy for the middle of the table for Easter dinner!

This was our first stop on a weekend visit to Freeport. For $4.50 you can take a thirty minute tour learning more about the history of Wilbur's and learning how the different confections are made. There are generous samples throughout the tour and we go to make our own chocolate covered oreos. Their shop was full of different kinds of... More

It looks a bit like a barn set back off the road but once you step inside it's chocolate heaven. I was there around Valentine's Day and they had a nice selection of chocolate gift choices as well as chocolates from the case to make your own. The prices were reasonable for good chocolates. Worth a stop.

Excellent confections. Had nice sample flavors available. Liked that they had other local food products (we purchased a peach schnapps salsa and flavored honey sticks). Took home the beer brittle too. It was very hard to not load up on all of the available deliciousness. Staff was very friendly. They offered a factory tour, but we did not have the... More

This place has the best chocolate covered cranberries. I have tried many different brands and none can compare. In my opinion, the white chocolate inner layer kicks them up a notch. I give them out for Christmas presents and everyone enjoys them.

Stopped by while sight seeing and ended up buying chocolate lobsters and some pumpkin truffles for gifts. Everyone liked them when we got back. The shop had a big selection of locally made confections.
