The views from the summit are excellent! This is a great place to spend a few hours or a whole day. I have hiked and mountain bikes many of the trails; there's something for every skill. This is a small park, but it's a great getaway for families in vacation or just stretching your legs. We visit a few times... More

Went when it was late in the Fall. Can see Fall colors , and hike up wasn't too bad. There are areas throughout the park to walk so your not limited to one path. A nice walk in the woods.

I go here every summer up to the summit to see the wonderful scenic view ahead of us. Short trails for the antsy children and longer one for the adults. Overall amazing place!

This park has a very short hike for a good view, but also offers longer trails through the woods and has a nice playground for children and lots of picnic tables.

We flew into Boston and this was our first night camping , checked in at dusk and set up tent , met ranger . We went into Freeport about 10 minute drive and eat , then visited LL Bean around 900pm, they are open 24hrs. Returned to the park and enjoyed brisk night at around 38 degrees versus the 98... More

We came to Maine for a long weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This park was a nice, short hike through the woods to a great vantage point of the area. The Fall foliage was at it's peak and this was a great way to see it. We came across a lot of friendly people, and some friendly dogs too...even... More

My wife and I like to take our dogs here to go for walks. The terrain is easy and it's usually a good time. We are happy to share this with you.

You don't need ropes or climbing equipment, just good hiking boots. This is not an endurance contest or a mountain that you have to conquer. It is a climb but a very easy one and well worth it, especially during the first 2 weeks of October for a spectacular view of fall foliage.

Very gentle hiking trails to get to the top - rewarded with a fantastic view. Easy 10 minute drive from Freeport. Park fee.

Wife and I went thru a couple trails and summit. Great Vistas. Paths are pretty easy to walk. 6 bucks a person for non maine residents. Not too bad. Would be expensive to take my entire family. Enjoyed my visit. Spent about 1.5 hrs in total to go up and down and enjoy scenery.
