I just had to write a review for this one. Quite simply the best short americano I have ever had. I don't know what they do different, but the flavour was just awesome. I did see that the beans are all roasted right there. And....I bought their roasted almonds (no salt). I eat tons of almonds and these were roasted... More

Excellent coffee(brewed, beans, ground) and specialty food items. The cook's store is very interesting. We always stop here on our way to Acadia National Park.

Great coffee! Also tried a deli sandwich on wonderful brioche, ate outside along the river. There are many gourmet items sure to please any foodie, and a good wine selection.

We go to the Brother when we need a piece of kitchen equipment...or a quick shot of espresso...or coffee beans...or gifts. More recently we've come to appreciate them as the best source in Ellsworth for value-priced wines - check the discount rack!

One of only a few places that have espresso in this area so we stopped for a latte for me. He got an Americano and we got a ginger/molasses cookie to split. Oh man, what a cookie! OK, coffee good, too, and great with the cookie. Got looking at their wine selection and picked up 2 good values. People were... More

I live in the area and visit often. Coffee is excellent, muffin, cookie or bread ,whatever breakfast snack , is is always good. The owner is usually in the store. I have relied on him many times to choose the correct wine for a summer gathering or just a special dinner. Excellent deli selections are available, cheeses, chicken salad and... More

As much as I appreciate the selection of items, what I like best about Rooster Brothers is the staff. Whenever I have a question (and I always do), they either know the answer, or find someone who does. There is none of that typical attempt to answer questions they don't know, they reach out for a staff member who has... More

Every time I shop here, I learn something new and I find something new! This is where I do my Christmas shopping...and everyone loves and uses their gifts! Rooster Brothers has me covered from baking, to towels, to wine, to cheeses, to snacks, to paper products, to tea, to chocolates and on and on! The staff is always so helpful... More
