We were lucky to have a campsite facing the lake. It was a very hot evening but the breeze coming off the lake was refreshing. The site was Sandy and treed but fairly open. The beach and water were very clean as well as the...More

I am picky when it comes to state parks. This one though blew me away. Grills, flushing toilets, playground, volleyball net and the best views. Plenty of room to spread out and have privacy. It abutts the Sand bar at the end of the Song...More

Went camping at the campground, it is beautiful there with it's own little beach. The camp sites were a little cluttered, as they were so close together at least where we were. There were no hook ups for campers in that particular area, which is...More

The state park offers many activities, my favorite is hiking. They have trails all over the property that can be used all year long.

Well love coming here but today the snack bar is not open. Not a big deal but it has always been open in the past so we didn’t bring food . Just thought people should have heads up that snack bar is closed—at least for...More

First time back here in years. Very nice facility, but 6.00 per person in the car was a lot for our 2 hour picnic!

This can be a fun place if you go early to pick a spot. In the afternoon it is packed. They have grills if you bring food and charcoal. A great place to walk on the beach off season.

They sell firewood there and most stores in the area have firewood but you can always go in the woods around the campground and collect your own for free that's what I do

There are playground, picnic tables, concessions, and much more. I haven't carefully looked at small children facilities, but I'm sure they will have fun!
