We rented a families cottage along the beach and woke up to the ocean waves crashing. The beach along the Atlantic was clean and relaxing. The town was very clean and people were friendly. Great food and little shops. Loved it. I've made some wonderful memories there.

Goose Rocks beach is a beautiful bluff-filled, white sand, pristine beach that is gorgeous and, even in the midst of summer, cool and refreshing. Crested against a picturesque landscape dotted by mansions, cottages, hammocks, and Adirondack chairs, Goose Rocks is just a few miles away from Kennebunkport proper, and features scenic village walking with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Ideal... More

I am not a big ocean person. However this beach is my all time favorite. The tide travels a great distance and leaves lots of packed sand for activities. There is an island you can explore at low tide. The parking is limited so plan for this. The general store sells passes for $15 and that is where the only... More

This beach is stunning, easy to walk, and is extremely photogenic. My husband and I visited on a chilly March afternoon and had a ton of fun! Parking was tight even in the winter so make sure to arrive early in the prime season.

This is a beautiful beach that had extremely limited parking. So here are a few tips: Get there early to find a spot-/ early means by 11:00 am at the latest. Always buy a pass from wherever but don't think of parking without one. The local police ticket aggressively. Consider a bite of lunch at the Tides Inn and you... More

Was recommended this beach by our hotel. We were not disappointed. A Wide sandy beach gently sloping to the water. Tide was out so a long way to the water but plenty of room for beach games. Parking limited and could be a nightmare so go early

I've been going to Goose Rocks Beach since I was a little kid. I have taken my kids and grandkids there as well. The parking is very limited, which can be a good thing as it cannot get over crowded. In recent years it has become more of a resort type beach with rentable chairs and umbrellas. At low tide... More

No bathrooms!!! Beautiful beach but you have to buy a day pass at the town hall or police station so that you can park on the street-- if any spots are left. There are NO bathrooms on the beach. The alternative is going into the ocean which makes me want to stay out of it.

This beach is peaceful and serene We brought our bikes with us and it was about a 10-15 minute bike ride to the... More
