I've been going to Goose Rocks Beach since I was a little kid. I have taken my kids and grandkids there as well. The parking is very limited, which can be a good thing as it cannot get over crowded. In recent years it has become more of a resort type beach with rentable chairs and umbrellas. At low tide... More

No bathrooms!!! Beautiful beach but you have to buy a day pass at the town hall or police station so that you can park on the street-- if any spots are left. There are NO bathrooms on the beach. The alternative is going into the ocean which makes me want to stay out of it.

We stopped by for a leisurely stroll on the beach. It was busy beach with street frontage parking, it as packed but we scored a park. We did not see signs that we needed a permit. We had no idea. We were there for a short time but were fined $50. No one warned us of this. Not at our... More

Spent over an hour just walking the beach. Fairly deserted due to the early morning mist. NOTE: there is no local parking available unless you get a day pass for $15.

Goose rocks is a wonderful location that offers soft sand and a great view. There is not always a lot of parking on the main road during the busy season but it is worth it, this is a favorite beach with our family.

This huge beach features enormous expanses of sand, sheltered by barrier rocks/islands. Perfect for even small children.

Low density of annoying people. Easy to get to. Wide beach. I like to walk my dog here off season. No waves which is a plus with kids but less so if you want to surf.
