The place is always busy. The amphitheatre had litter strewn all over it. Its a beautiful place, but the squirrels and chipmunks seemed to have moved on. Sad.

Camden's Harbor Park and Amphitheatre is a treasure. Park the car, get out and stroll around. Enjoy views of the harbor, mountains , town, Curtis Island... this is a spot to see. Clean and well taken care of, it's worth a stop to relax, enjoy the view and take in the sights and sights of the harbor.

Camden- "where the mountains meet the sea." Yes, this village and her beautiful harbor is all that and more. A stunning, protected harbor filled with large (touring) sail boats, many, many private sail boats and majestic scenery. You can walk along the harbor front a little bit and see where the Megunticook River joins the "sea" and tumbles over rocks... More

Pick up a to-go snack and head for Camden Harbor Park! You can sit on one of the benches or on the lawn and see the fishing boats and pleasure craft ply the harbor and dream of seafaring days from the past. Turn around and visit the amphitheater where plays are still produced during the summer season . Check out... More

We were getting disheartened by the snail pace traffic on US-1 between bath and wicassett on a perfect summer weekend, but we plowed on. Worth the perseverance. Camden is a very cute town with a picture perfect harbor (it looks like Bayfield, Wisconsin on Lake Superior). Walk along the streets away from the main drag to enjoy the old houses,... More

The amphitheater is an amazing place just off of the beaten path. It's a quiet place with an incredible view over Camden harbor. We got to watch a little of the rehearsal for the Shakespeare show that was starting the following week. We also got to see a brass quintet one evening and that was very enjoyable. What a fun... Take a few minutes to visit this just off the library grounds. Beautiful view of the harbor from the amphitheatre.

So relaxing to sit on the Library's Lawn Benches or the Waterfront Restaurant and watch the passing parade of boats
