We really enjoyed walking through this museum on the beautiful Bowdoin college campus. It's a nice size with lots of different exhibits. It's amazingly free but they do accept donations.

The museum is small but holds an interesting collection of murals, Egyptian artifacts, oil paintings on linen, canvas and more. Helpful volunteers.
