This lighthouse comes with a little bit more than just the lighthouse. The best view is from down below. There are stairs that take you to the rocks and then depending on how comfortable you are, you can climb down further to get the best view possible. They allow entry to top of the lighthouse and there is a staff... More

I tour and photograph alot of lighthouses and thoroughly enjoy the history and sacrifices of those involved. The job was certainly not one for the faint of heart back in the day. We were surprised as we drove up to the Pemaquid Point LH as were charged ADMISSION. While only a small fee of $2.00, it is more the prinicipal... More

Well worth the two dollar admission fee. The lighthouse is an easy walk up to the top, but it is pretty tight at there, so they understandably limit the number of visitors going up at once. There is also a nice little fisherman's museum in the adjacent house, and a few other sites that are worth a look. The park... More

For just $2 per person, you get access to the light which you can climb, a short video and a museum, plus great views of the ocean, rocky coast and the boats passing by. It was a very pleasant afternoon.

Lovely lighthouse with great views and you can climb to the top inside. Their are views of the rocky seacoast and a museum attached with nearby art galleries. The museum has a lot f history about the lighthouse itself. On of the better lighthouses on the Maine Coast.

Beautiful view!! Our party included tiny children and elders, and we ALL had a blast walking out on the Gorgeous huge flat rocks, exploring tidal pools, and crashing waves, and fabulous rock formations. There are picnic tables for BYOL, and a lighthouse to climb. Ice cream is available next door at the Sea Gull . Leave time to explore, and... More

Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and Park – Located in the town of Bristol. The Lighthouse tower is owned by the Coast Guard and is accessible. The grounds are very well maintained and very nicely landscaped by the town of Bristol Parks Commission. There is a minimal fee paid at the Gate House to enter the Park area. This fee provides for... As we deplaned in Portland, a local recommended we visit this lighthouse. As we gathered our luggage, there among the airport "art" was a mural of this lighthouse. We routed our return to Portland from Bar Harbor to include. One begins to think that one will never get there. (It actually is not many additional miles). It is worth the... More

Wonderful sunny afternoon visit. Plenty of parking and not too crowded when we were there. The small museum has loads of history and interesting artifacts. Very knowledgeable docents. There was a short wait to climb the stairs up to the lighthouse top and there was guide explaining the history and answering questions. The stairs are not too difficult of a... More

My family and I visited the Pemaquid Lighthouse during our drive up through Maine this past summer. We are able to go into the lighthouse and up the tower in small groups and it was a cool experience. The person controlling the flow of people going up to the lighthouse was very friendly and engaging and made the wait easier.... More
