Hog Island

Hog Island and the mainland property are worth the visit, I was on staff from 1985-1997. It was opened in the 30's and to some of us it's second home.

This nature trail is not to be missed. Pick up a trail guide at the entrance and head out to the meadow to begin your walk through native plants, trees, mosses, ground cover, ending up at halfway on the water, for a wonderful picnic spot. Inspected tide pools, saw birds overhead, continued for last half with great experience. Can't wait... More
