BBRLT maintains many miles of beautiful scenic trails. Lots of great places for a nature walk or light hike or just to get out and walk the dog.

Miles and miles of well-kept walking trails, never a fee. Great for dog walking, hiking with the kids and getting out in nature. Kiosks at trail heads have maps. Some preserves have strenuous hiking trails while other have quiet shoreline walks and meditation gardens. BRLT...More

Did a lot of Geocacheing on the Land Trust Trails around Boothbay Harbor. The trails are very well kept an scenic. Lots of Caches to be found also. White blazes are easy to follow.

The Boothbay Region has done a wonderful job of preserving beautiful areas for public use and enjoyment. You can spot some areas by looking for signs but get a map of the areas and explore, explore, explore.

This is a 5-mile loop thru the forest and along the river. The trail is well maintained and has gorgeous views. I rarely hike and would rate this an easy trail. Great parking too at two places on the trail. Beautiful!

They do have a nice wide .5 mile loop mulch trail at Penny Lake which would be fine for a stroller. It has a bridge along the trail that offers a view of the lake with benches for snacking and resting a bit.

No, there is no camping allowed on Damariscove Island. Day use only; no campfires are allowed. All Boothbay Region Land Trust preserves are open dawn to dusk year round.
