We went on the Kennebec River tour. It was a beautiful day to be on the water, we enjoyed great views of light house and watched some wildlife. The captain gave a very good narrative of the area.

Easy access, tasty hotdogs and good narration all contributed to a fun day ! The bonus was learning about the small research community on the island and also being able to see a host of other unusual wildlife. This would have been a 5 out...More

Great day, wonderful Captain and instructor. Beautiful weather and saw lots of Puffins! The instructor was very personable and educated, told wonderful stories. Also saw 3 or four light houses and heard about them from our Captain and some of the local history & happenings.

There is a chance you will see Puffins, but May is at the very beginning of their nesting season. June and July are the safest bets, and they return to sea after August.
