I think it's not fair of me to give this trip 4/5--we probably just didn't have a great day whale-wise, which isn't their fault. Boat was great, captain/marine biologist were great, day was GORGEOUS, and I never have seen a Fin or Minke whale, so that was cool. I enjoyed "spotting" whales, too. Little kids might be bored (my 8-year-old... More

I have been on this tour 4 times and most recently was the most perfect. Granted the day was absolutely what you'd dream it to be. Clear skies, calm seas. The Biologist was very knowledgable and quick to point out each point of interest. This is always my go-to event when family is gathered. Highly recommend.

The afternoon cruise was ~4 hours and we saw the backs & fins of a few whales and a couple harbor seals. It was fun to experience the first time on a ship with my 10-year-old. Thank goodness I did not bring my younger child; he would have been miserable with the length of the cruise and he would not... More

We had a large age diverse family group...including 2 large dogs and everyone had a wonderful time. The boat was comfortable and the captain gave a great tour of the area and we loved the lobster trap haul. In short.....fun and educational...who could ask for more...Louisa....a member of The Brzozowski/Alroy Annual Family Vacation

We took a 1:00 whale watch excursion on a beautiful Sunday afternoon while staying in Boothbay Harbor. It was quite the highlight of our day. I can't count the number of whales we saw but there were many and it was very exciting and lots of fun! We also saw harbor seals, porpoises and a sunfish along with other birds.... More

My family had an extraordinary time on this tour. We saw a good number of fin whales and several seals. The staff was friendly and the ocean cooperated nicely. With a family filled with motion sick people I'd highly recommend bonine or some other motion sickness pill as a precaution. We had a blast and I'd recommend this tour to... More

My family of 7 had a great experience with Cap'n Fish's Whale Watch! Both the captain and the marine biologist were very nice and extremely informative during the 3 1/2 hour tour. We saw probably at least 8 different fin whales, a few minke whales, a few seals, several unique birds. The captain was able to race over and get... More

My son had learned about puffins in school and really wanted to see them close up. We heard of this tour and it was well worth it. It was a beautiful trip out. The captain was very informative. The Audubon society tour guide was very nice and gave a great informative little lecture on the birds that we would see.... More

We had a wonderful morning on the whale watch. The day was beautiful, the biologist (?) had an informative commentary about the sea life we were seeing or might see. She talked about the various whales, seals, birds and other sea life. She also talked about the islands, lighthouses and area. Great trip. Definitely recommend this tour.
