Our friends from Bangor retired and had a family event on the island. It was a gorgeous day and the food was fabulous. Clam chowder, 12 clams, baked potato, and two whole lobsters, all cooked fresh on a huge grill. Great family-owned place and the two brothers made sure the visited with every guest. The boat ride over and back... More

We signed up for this trip this morning and were placed on the wait list. Fortunately, we were able to book it and took the Bennie Alice from Boothbay Harbor to Cabbage Island. The trip was pleasant and the Captain provided many interesting facts along the way. As soon as we docked at Cabbage Island we were warmly greeted by... More

The price per person with tax is $65.00 which sounds like a lot of money until you break it down. That includes the boat ride both ways. The boat ride to the island is also a small guided tour the capt goes by a couple of light houses and islands and explains their origin and who owns and maintains them... More

We took this trip on the advice of friends that is was a good one. It was better than good. A family owned and run by them too. They are so friendly. The food is wonderful. You don get one lobster you get two. Plus clams, potato, egg, & onion. Make sure you save room for dessert there is blueberry... More

Reservations by phone. Clear instructions how to get there, how long it will take to drive there, where to park, what time to arrive. Loaded 150 people on a boat in 15 min and headed to the end of the bay to their own island. Lobsters, steamers, fresh corn, blueberry coffee cake. All delicious. Served everyone in 10 minutes flat.... More

Great informative boat tour of the islands . Beautiful ride out followed by delicious chowder. Double lobster meal with steamers, corn on the cob, potato, baked onion, and egg. Followed by a slab of old fashioned blueberry cake dusted with powdered sugar. If you're still hungry it's your own fault. Wonderful hosts. Will definitely be back. If you plan on... More

Cash or check only for this trip but worth it. The roughly 55 minute boat ride takes the long way about so that the captain can tell you about the sites around the harbor. When you arrive you have about 30 minutes to explore, throw horseshoes or just relax. Then the food is ready. Seafood chowder, 2 lobsters, clams, corn,... More

Our experience during Cabbage Island Clam & Lobster Bake was both, fun & relaxing. It began with a lovely, informative boat ride to a 5 1/2 acre private island. Everyone got 2 steamed lobsters, steamers, corn, a potato & blueberry cake. Yum! The staff was wonderful, too. Fantastic!
