The Cabbage Island experience began with a nice boat trip to the island, nicely narrated to point out the key sights. It continued with a well made fish chowder. The anticipated clam bake was a disappointment, however. The quantity was fine, but the quality needed improvement. The steamers were small and stringy. The lobsters were soft shell, which yields a... More

We have been to Boothbay on several occasions but never were able to do the clambake. This year I called and made reservations a month ahead of time. They take your name and number in your party but require no deposit, just request you call if you need to cancel as they always have a wait list. They don't take... More

Six adults and a two year old, we all had a superb time. I got thank you's from every one for suggesting it. And once on the island the two year old ran and screamed with the best of them. Harbour tour was very interesting, clambake included clams and two lobsters, and the ride back exhibited a beautiful sunset. Recommend... More

Rain or shine popular trip. We made reservations which I recommend since people who did not have reservations were on a waiting list. They only take checks and cash so be prepared. It was rainy the day we went, so we did not get the full experience of exploring the island . Bought foul weather jacket at a local store... More

A boat takes you to the island where they serve fish chowder, two lobsters, clams, corn, potato, an egg and an onion. Blueberry cake was for dessert. It was fun and delicious!

This was a very fun filled and exciting Excursion out of Boothbay Harbor. The food was absolutely delicious the lobster was the best ever had. There was plenty to do on the island with games sightseeing and hiking this is an absolute must for the lobster lover.

This is a must for all who visit Boothbay Harbor. It is a Maine culinary feast and a nice boat ride. Resedvaos are needed as much as a week in advance

We took the boat in the evening for the lobster_clambake. The captain talked about different islands and pointed out a lighthouse on our way to the island. There were several things to do to keep occupied but we enjoyed walking around looking at the gardens. The lobsters and all the food served was delicious. Don't miss taking this trip

Boat trip was pleasant with great food once we arrived. Family owned business and the family are mingling amongst the guests. The little island was beautful
