If you're looking for real food then this is the place to go. We joined as a member of this co-op and go there every time we are in Blue Hill.

We stopped in during a short visit to Blue Hill and were impressed by the organic produce, wines and locally made cheeses. The deli fare looked inviting, but we had just enjoyed breakfast at our inn so we took a pass.

We come up to Blue Hill for about a week every August. This was the first time we shopped at the Co-op, however, and we were pleasantly surprised. All stores offerings and choices were well curated: fresh, local produce, dry items and spices in bulk, dairy, packaged items. As far as food coops go, I consider this a best in class. The Co-op will figure in our everyday shopping going forward. …

Everyone in town knows everyone else from the coop - we found that out about 10 minutes after arriving at the Blue Hill Inn. We visited and were surprised at the number of choices of each different type of prepared, canned, bottled, food and fruits and vegis. My compliments to them for running such a fine service.…
