Fun place to stop and shop for wine and continental pleasures like good pasta and cheeses. Espresso, cappuccino etc. Max, the owner, is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic wine purveyor and he'll try and get you what you need. Buy a case and get 10% off.

Great food and wine. What more can I say? Staff were very helpful. Pity it's not open for food after 2pm.

This is our go to place for wine. We are able to get remarkable wines selected by Max, his wife and Jetson. All are knowledgeable about what you need. Prices are VERY GOOD. This place out performs our major East coast city providers - with more knowledge, unique wines and good prices. Ask about Montefalco wines.

You would never expect to find as sophisticated a shop in a little coastal village. Max, the owner, really knows his wines and enjoys introducing you to wines that are most likely new for you. Lots of excellent values as well. In addition there is a superb selection of cheeses and olive oils. Service is knowledgeable and very pleasant. Also... More

Max and crew run a wonderful shop full of temptations which span the spectrum of necessary indulgences. Great wines, beers, cheeses, bread (fresh from a local baker,) charcuterie and oils, etc. The list is long. They have regular wine tasting sessions, but don't hesitate to ask for advice. The responses I've received have been refreshingly candid and honest. Not a... More

This wine shop is one of my favorite places in Blue Hill! Max, the owner will educate you about wines and help you find exactly what you want, the selection is from all over the world. The shop also boasts a cheese bar where you can get world-class cheeses, as well as a host of other tasty treats, espressos and... More

This is a funky shop, which I love. It has more than just wine, and every time I go, I find more, like bread, cheese, espresso, etc. I think I even saw someone eating what looked like quiche, though I'm not sure. Max is very helpful and knowledgable. If I don't find exactly what I want, Max can always recommend... More

I've been going to Blue Hill every year since about it's opening. Each year when we visit Stonington we stop several times to load up on wine. In my view, Max is about the best at recommending wines. He loves to help isolate wines that one will enjoy. Amazing place for a small town.
