We were able to park and see the lovely beach and ocean, but the beach is blocked off by some very large stones that line the highway and prevent all but the most agile from getting down to the water. There is an entrance pathway...More

The ocean waves on Maine beaches can vary day to day. Fortunes Rocks never disappoints. Do not park during the day or you will be ticketed. Park after 5 pm or buy a parking pass at Biddeford City Hall.

We stopped here to get our feet wet on the way to Portland from Boston and it was spectacular. Smallish, quiet beach perfect for walking. No restrooms but there is an outhouse if you really are desperate.
