This park is lovely for walking and picnicking. There are tables, shelters, pathways, and a beach on Belfast Bay. In summers, there is a food service offering lunches and ice cream. Good for family fun.

I work at the hospital right next to this park so I walk there almost daily in the summer. It is right on the ocean so the view is beautiful. There is a large playground for kids, an in the ground pool with lifeguard, two tennis courts, a ball field, many trees, clean flush toilets, concession stand with "real food"... More

I love the Belfast city park. It has swings, playground, public pool, a beach, horseshoe pits and bbq stations. Also tennis and bball courts. Nice walking trail too. Must stop by!

There are areas for sports games, for enjoying plants, and best of all for enjoying views and walks along the harbor. The view from the water's edge is super in any season.

We usually visit Belfast just after the high season and the park activities are more available. Just walking along the drives in the park could work off some calories from the lobster eaten. The park is located towards the outskirts of the city towards Route 1. There are tennis courts, swimming pool, gazebos, picnic areas, and a "beach" at the... More

Beautiful park with many family activities. This place is a real asset to the little town - peaceful, big with access to the ocean. Pleased to see pickleball offered for free - including all equipment.

My husband and I went to the City Park in Belfast once again and were pleased with the improvements. Instead of rickety wooden stairs down to the water, there is a new very sturdy set of steps in its place. There is so much to do in this park. We love just lounging on the rocky beach, watching the waves... More

A wonderful playground, a pool, picnic areas, a take out stand, a beach, and so much more. Our son loves it and so do we.

The park has a pool, basketball and tennis courts, but we did not use these. If you follow the drive that winds past those facilities, you will get to a parking lot with several parking places overlooking the rocky beach with beautiful views of Penobscot Bay. You can watch the sailboats and fishing boats go past; and see the tankers... More

This is a great little park for the kids to play on the playground and the parents can relax. There is also a pool which is open in the summer time with lifeguards or take a few laps in the Ocean. The driveway is still dirt! Great little picnic areas also.
