We literally parked here, talked with the women manning the center, and used it as place to begin our walk of Bath. We visited the old water front, down town, and the Maritime museum all on foot. We had a perfect day for walking and got a real sense of the town. Stop buy, break our a good pair of... More

We had a great experience at the Bath visitor's center. (We had just come from Bethel's visitor center upon entering the state of Maine, where we were completely ignored.) We were passing through Maine on our 30th wedding anniversary and the woman in charge at the Bath visitor center was very pleasant and helpful. In fact, she was the nicest... More

Having never eaten in Bath, we were looking for a good lunch. The visitor's center staff made perfect suggestions for lunch and a tour of the library and building of the Virginia replica.

Most helpful volunteer here who recommended good things to see in town. Don't miss the replica boat being built (also by volunteers).

This is a wonderful introduction for the "newbie" in the area. The personnel is very attentive and helpful. The area is unique and the city of Bath should be explored!

When I want to pick up brochures and maps for the region I just arrived in, this official State of Maine visitors center is where I go. During open hours, the staff will answer your questions and help rote you where you want to go. Bathrooms are available for humans and a dog walking area too.

I got lots of helpful information and suggestions. Tons of restaurants are closed for the winter but many are still open. You just have to visit again in another season.

We followed the signs in from Hwy 1 to find the Visitors Center and glad we did. The lady there was helpful in helping us decided what we wanted to do with our day and was knowledgeable not only with Bath, but the surrounding area too. We were able to keep our car parked in the the Visitor Center parking... More

Beautiful setup for visitors. The doyen was very helpful with maps of the area and there were several more informative brochures available.

I couldn't believe it was past 6pm and the Visitor's Center was still open! Normally stays open until 7pm. The lady was so nice and very helpful with maps and information on Bath hotels and restaurants.
