We went to see "Hair Frenzy" last night. We left at intermission. the performers screamed their lines, it was very bad, it gave me a headache. others complained about it as well, but we were the only ones that left the theatre. I do believe that if they had headsets, they wouldn't feel the need to scream so loud. I've... More

How can you go wrong? Local theatre group, not a bad seat in the house. Everything I have seen here has been first class.

For our first visit to the Penobscot Theatre, we attended the (second) performance of Karen Irwin's tribute to Janis Joplin. A great venue and a great, high-energy performance (especially considering she did the same one- woman show 2 hours earlier). The venue us great, very intimate, and we'll look for more things to see here.

We had watched the movie at least 20 times and enjoyed this venue very, very much. I would recommend seeing this production. You won't be disappointed, the cast does a great job.

Been to 4 different shows in past 6 months and enjoyed each one. Not something I thought I would ever do either. The Ring of Fire production was an very, very good show. Lots of fun, great atmosphere, very laid back & friendly crew, actors and theater goers. Highly recommend the Penobscot Theatre Company

I have a season subscription to PTC and I love every minute of it. Everyone involved with the theatre (from Doug in the front of house, to Bari, Mary, and Amy behind the scenes, to all of the amazing actors) is a gem and they put their all into making each show an immersive experience for the audience. Each season... More
