So we went to see rock of ages. Keep in mind we are the NYC area. The show reminded me of what the local high school would perform. Not NY off Broadway if that's what you are thinking you are gonna get. What really bothered me is that it was SO stuffy and warm in the theater and they have... More

Attended the showing of "Rock of Ages" last night and to say it was amazing would be an understatement! I was so impressed with the cast and production. Wasn't sure what to expect from a local theater group but they nailed it! I was in the front row and enjoyed the audience involvement. The cast was having a great time... More

Went to see Rock of Ages, not knowing exactly what to expect. My husband and I are in the 60 year old club, but the play was great. We sang along with most of the music. We were both amazed at the level of talent in a small city. We loved it!!

Family of five went to local production of Rock of Ages, two in their early 20's and a 15 yo. We really enjoyed seeing one our son's close friends in the production. If you like 80's hair band music, you'll be singing along all night with the cast and band. The guitars could have been a little louder - it's... More

This was our 2nd show at Penobscot Theater and they both were great! Very professional actors, great singing and fast moving production! I would recommend everyone to see this show and any future ones at this location.

Penobscot Theatre Company never disappoints, but Rock of Ages really nailed it - one of the best performances I have ever seen them perform. The local talent will astound you. If you like the big hair bands of the eighties and comedy with an edge, this is a must see.
