This is an ok attraction to keep children busy for an hour or so. Some of the interaction buttons to the exhibits were inoperable.
Air conditioning worked minimally.
Our 7 yr. Old granddaughter still had fun!

Maine Discovery Museum great for young kids on a rainy day!! (0 Replies)
Just got back from a week in Bar Harbor. On Sunday, the weather was terrible..so we piled in the car (kids ages 2, 6 and 7 1/2) and went to the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor. THE KIDS LOVED IT!! Warning it takes over an hour to get there but was time well spent. We dragged the kids out after three hours of running around and playing. We had lunch down the street at a fun Irish Pub - don't recall the name.
