Childhood Memories

Great place to spend a few hours. Both kids and Adults have fun. It was nice that we could bring our own lunch and could do interactive activities.

The kids always have fun here but it sure has seen better days. I wish the community could step up and help give this place the extra love it needs. I also wish there was better parking options.

Great for kids about 12 and under though my 13 year old enjoyed it with her younger relatives. Three floors of exhibits. A few did not work, but plenty that did. Free entry for holders of other museum memberships - check the website.

My 3 grandkids, ages 3, 5 and 8 absolutely loved this place! There is so much to do, and it is different stuff than the normal kids museum. Their favorites were the Goodnight Moon room that they can be a part of, and the recording studio. (they are all hams!) You could spend several hours here on a rainy day!

Our family loves to stop at the Maine Discovery Museum when we are in town. This museum is a gem and totally worth the visit. We especially love the storybook rooms - it's like walking in to the pages of "Goodnight Moon" and other favorites!

We are new to Bangor and brought our two kids here (8 and 5 years old). They really enjoyed it. There are lots of rooms with fun things to play with, climb on or learn. Some fun bugs, lizards and animals to look at. A two story play fort. Lots of interact stuff for the kids and a room with... More

Took my grandson, but enjoyed it very much myself. Lots of hands on experience. Neat music stuff, virtual reality, how things work, just a lot of variety.

Every time we go, half the attractions are broken or closed. Our kids are always disappointed. They charge full price either way. We feel that if half your attractions that you show online are in major disrepair or not working at all you should reflect that in your pricing.... Won't be back until we hear that the much needed repairs... More
