Located in a great old antique church building. Lots of art ranging from large oil and acrylic painting to small watercolor and digital art. Also some artisan jewelry and pottery. Welded yard art. Painted windows. All done by local artists. All price ranges and just great things to see.

This is another free venue that is simply stunning. The art works in the two buildings will take a full day, at least. Photography is allowed and the staff are very relaxed and friendly.
The main building has the more traditional art and the contemporary art is in the building next door. The collection is extensive and wide ranged.

We always look for a local artist co-op or gallery whenever we travel. We were very pleased to find one in Washington. There is something for almost every taste. Subtle water colors to fairly modernistic oils. Most of the artists are unknown, but the work is still of above average quality and far more economical than in the big city galleries.
You well may not find what you are looking for. Especially if you are like us and a painting or sculpture has to speak to you. After all, this is the surest way to acquire things you will hang or display in your home and actually enjoy. So we would suggest, if passing by Washington, stop and browse in the gallery. You may not find something that says take me home immediately, but the inventory does change so make this a routine stop if you like to find pleasing art by local artists.
