Beautiful view of the lake from the deluxe cabin we were staying. I actually live 18 miles from the park and have been going since childhood. Excellent playground and a water pad for the kids during the summer months. You can see much of Louisiana...More

We rent a cabin at Chicot every August. The lake is beautiful and has some good fishing. There are trails to walk, and a splash pad for the kids.

Grew up there. The park is very clean nd peaceful. Lake is pretty. Fishing is fair and campsites are good but some hilly. Cabins over the lake are awesome with a fireplace & dock

I've been coming to Bayou Chicot since I was a child. I love the wildlife and cabins. Hills are great for bike riding and pavillions are great for a quick picnic. Fishing is ok, scenery is nice and natural. I have done several photo shoots...More

Some would expect raccoons but the traffic was unbearable after dark. Vehicles going the wrong way on one ways ignoring posted speed limits
