This is a one of a kind plantation with much history! The volunteer at the General Store was so informative. We really enjoyed talking with him and learning about the Laurel Valley Village.

I was completely underwhelmed. The store had a bunch of old relics in it which were interesting to look at. Everything says do not touch. I asked the gentleman who was minding the store if there was a tour. He said “no, just walk around...More

To see all the houses for the slaves you have to drive 2 miles from the store. Don't miss the store with all the antic.

We went to see the old sugar cane plantation grounds and we're glad to get to see the old slave quarters and learn that they were being protected. The store and the animals and old farm equipment there was very interesting too.
