The kids had an ok time but on the whole the activities are not well maintained, or monitored. Teenage kids were fighting in the water balloon area and staff did nothing (in my opinion because there were barely any staff assisting with activities). The water duck activity had no water in it. The mining activity had no queue control at all and only 4 pans. Mainly just stones in water.

The maze itself is no good for young kids as too long, may be fine for the older ones. The only good thing was the enchanted wood.

The soft play would have been OK if there had been ANY staff monitoring the building at all. There was a strip light flickering the whole day and kids clearly above the age permitted blocking the smaller ones from using the big white slide.

There are no activities (other than the maze) the adults can participate in so in my opinion adults should not be charged £10 plus entry for that.

First time visiting, we enjoyed everything about our visit, we only stayed from 10-12 but could of stayed much longer, it did start to get a lot busier as we are leaving so can understand people’s reviews on waiting but luckily we didn’t have these issues, we will definitely return

After all the lovely reviews we were very disappointed. We spent over £50 for basically a walk around the maze. There were far too many people there numbers dont appear to be limited and no thoughts to masks, distancing or covid. Tried to play crazy golf but the wait was at least half an hour. Went to the indoor play area which had no supervision and older children were walking up the slide preventing younger children coming down. Water play was available but the containers were mouldy in parts. Water balloons we couldnt get near. Very disappointing experience and not value for money for us.. All the play facilities were so crowded. A lot of money for what we did. Dont plan on a couple of hours as we did, you need at least half a day to get a chance of doing anything because of overcrowding. Not covid friendly in my opinion at all.
As tickets were on sale for a timeslot I thought there would be some management of numbers.
My 3 grandchildren were disappointed that they could not get to do the things they wanted and we were disappointed by the cost for what we were able
to do😥 Sadly due to the cost I am not prepared to return

There needs to be a LOT more picnic benches! Disheartening seeing people with prams/wheelchairs etc having to sit on damp grass because you cannot cater for what looks like more than 8 families!!! God help everyone if it starts to rain… not happy! I’m heavily pregnant I shouldn’t have to fight for a place to sit!

Came here for the first time today with my 5 & 4 year old. Overall it’s a great day out, we arrive at 10.15 and left at 4.45 so the children were kept busy. The fairy maze, pillows abd soft play were great , only criticism is having to use portaloo’s which the smells coming from their was awful today, can imagine on a hot day yuk. You could smell them from the picnic benches when having lunch, quite off putting. I would expect for almost £35 to get in their would be a decent toilet facilities. The duck race didn’t really work and the guy kept filling it up with water. Their was also no ‘Gems’ to collect in the coal mine, we got their early so should of been replenished but didn’t find a single one for the children. staff texting on the phone while suppose to be manning the activities. I’ve been to other places similar to this which are much better! I would come back but not anytime soon.

We’ve been going here for many summers and as always it’s a great day out. Well worth the entrance fee as it provides a full day of activities. The only criticism this year is that the maze was tricky for young ones, we have enjoyed many themes over the years but this one was super hard to keep little ones engaged. As a whole the activities are really good & I would recommend to any young families for summer fun.

I went with my two daughters 10 and 7, they absolutely loved it. Perfect for the both of them to do all activities. We booked in at 11am and stayed until 5pm. We were all exhausted with so many things to do.

There is obviously the maze, which we wasn’t great at tbh. They got a little fed up after an hour, we kept walking around in circles 🙈. We managed to find a few of the statues and clues. They had a fabulous fairy garden, we came across, with a couple of Dinosaurs hidden as well, which was really nice to find.

Their favourite activities were the bouncing pillows and the zip wire. The bouncing pillow for the younger children was closed, which didn’t bother us with being older. My two kept queuing to go back on over and over. Social distancing didn’t really exist on the pillows, which I can imagine is hard to control, they did ask the children to stay apart but some just didn’t listen and wasn’t corrected. The parts which can be improved is the laser guns, they didn’t work properly and wasn’t manned properly and nothing was explained what they needed to do. Finding the treasury/jewels, there wasn’t any 🤷‍♀️. The lady said there was some earlier in the day which is unfair really for kids wanting to go on it later in the day. Also there was a lot of sanitisers around but they need to make sure sanitisers are filled or actually work. Take your own gel like I did to make sure.

There was also go cart type things and a mini golf but didn’t manage to go on these.

If you’re taking a packed lunch watch out for the wasps. There are quite a few, just a warning if you don’t like them.

Lovely sand bit for the younger children/toddlers which they could have hours of fun in.

Also the toilets are portable Loo’s, I think there was 5/6 of them, they seemed clean enough.

We spent a lovely afternoon here. The maze was great and we hope to come back to explore it further. Lots to do, play area for the small ones. Balloon bouncy castle. Water bomb fights. Took a picnic which was good as there were plenty of benches to sit. The only reason I cannot give this a 5 star is because of the lack of shade. We did not pick a particularly hot day it was just chance, but it was far too hot and there were a couple of sheds to sit in but no parasols or shade anywhere. We did have to leave earlier than planned due to this. I would consider taking a parasol of my own next time.

The only reason I can't give it 5stars was lack of shade. We are a family of fair skin and red hair and are always in need to hide from the sun every once in a while.
However, everything else was just fantastic. The play areas, the bouncing pillow balloons, water bombs andjem finding were so entertaining and that's just to mention a few activities. The maze is massive, we loved getting lost. The best thing was no surprising extras everything was included in the price.
Then to finish your day, you can call off at the icecream parlour around the corner and get fresh icecream.
At great little place!!!! Will definitely be back.

We went to Brimstage maze today and I cannot praise this place enough. I haven’t been to many places during the covid pandemic but I can honestly say the measures they have in place made me feel more at ease than anywhere I have been. I cannot express how impressed I was. Reduced capacity, online booking only, sanitisers all around, lots of reminder notices, all of the activity stations properly manned. All of the staff were super friendly and went the extra mile. It’s such good value for money in my opinion. We paid £34 - arrived at 1.30pm and stayed until closing time (6pm). The maze itself is huge and the fairy trail is a must. There’s a lovely little beer garden right by it with gorgeous grounds and an outdoor bar. I can honestly say this is one of the best days out my family have had.
