The museum tells the stories of those who helped to build the lighthouses, lights, and ports along the Norwegian coast. Dalsfjord lighthouse museum was founded in 1993 and consists of a large collection of technical equipment and tools that have been replaced by the Norwegian Coastal Administration. The museum also houses a lighthouse from 1900 century. The lighthouse was set up in 1982 as a memorial to those who built the lighthouse

If you are like lighthouses (like me) then this museum offers a very interesting exhibition about the history of the Norwegian lighthouses. The museum has a large collection of items related to lighthouses and other beacons along the Norwegian coast, and in addition very knowledgeable guides!
