Had a really great tour with Tray. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we got to see everything from the deep swamp to all kinds of animals. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area.

The guides are local and are clearly knowledgeable about their area. But I'm a bit uneasy about feeding the marshmallows! Yes, the gators were in hiding as we were told they were getting ready to go into hibernation, so the only way to see them...More

I took one of the small six people boat tours (although there were only three of us), with a friendly and knowledgeable guide called Trey (not sure of the spelling). He was local, and had a real sympathy for the environment. We got to see...More

Really enjoyed this swamp tour. We were lucky and managed to see alligators, raccoons, wild boar as well as birds. Our tour guide was really informative and knew the swamp so well! Would 100% recommend to anyone, well worth the price.

Potpourri of Questions (10 Replies)
Hi: Still working on our itinerary for our trip in October. I hope you can help me with some or all of my questions: 1. Where are the best pralines? 2. Renting a car to see some plantations. Is it doable to visit both Laura and Nottoway in one day? 3. We are thinking of booking a photography tour (swamp) with Pearl River Eco Tours. Anyone have any experience with them - good or bad? 4. I've seen some excellent reviews for Brigtsen's, but don't recall seeing it mentioned here. What...More
