This tour was really special and the highlight of my families visit to Louisiana. The small intimate boat took us into the heart of Honey Island Swamp to see all of it's beauty. Our guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about not only all the animals but the trees and other plants as well. It was also really cool to see the people who live right on the waters edge and call the swamp their home. Ask around at the tour office after your trip for some good insider knowledge about some of the best food in the area too. Already can't wait to go back…

We took this tour and our guide Captain Hunter was fun and informative. He was able to spot lots of the wildlife and had significant knowledge of the fauna and flora in the area. We had a great time and would definitely return.

The weather was bad, so we didn't end up going on the tour. I talked on the phone to Steve three different times, and each time, he was so gracious and kind about trying to make the trip work for us. Some friends recommended Honey Island Tours to us, and I can see why! Great customer service. Friendly. Accommodating. If we are back in LA again, we will definitely take a rain check on this tour.…
