Great selection of Cajun meats and frozen pies, vegetables, and other specialty items, such as boudin. They even have dry ice and styrofoam ice chests and will mail it for you! (very reasonable too)

I ordered Smoked Boudin sausage and Hog Head cheese. Very pleased with the packing, nice and frozen when I received it. The taste of both is the best! I am going to try some of their other meats since I loved the ones that I ordered. I am looking for some good quail and pheasant. Roberta Hargis

Plenty of choices for authentic Cajun food while traveling through southwest LA and being originally from the area id like to think I have an idea of what is authentic and what is not. You will not be disappointed by this place. No tourist trap BS and you can try other places but you will be hard pressed to find... More

If want authentic and traditional Cajun boudin, this is the Best Stop!! There are many variations of boudin recipes, but I prefer Best Stop's. Nice and meaty, not a lot of rice. Cracklins are great but they are cut a bit on the big side for me as I prefer mine cut small and cooked crisp. Great nonetheless. Good selection... More

If you are on the run, a good place to stop is the Best Stop Supermarket. The store is a small family-owned country store. They have Fried Boudin Balls (near the size of a tennis ball) for $0.50 each. The Boudin Balls are a little wet with plenty of pork. Buy a "Cold Drink" if you cannot withstand much red... More

The best Cracklin's and Boudin around. It's a wee pricey but well worth it! If you want to grab something for the grill for supper,or load the cooler and take it with ya on your trip to wherever, It's the place to pull in and stock up.

Have been going to the Best Stop for years. It has all the unique Louisiana food items. A must to have is the boudin which is a seasoned rice in a casing, so, it looks like sausage. You can order it warm, ready to eat. Usually, one link is enough for one person. The staff are helpful and can give... More
