The sea is its gateway. One can just hop on a boat for 1,500 pesos and enjoy island hopping. No fuss at all. the best island for me is Hagonoy with its fine sand and crystal clear waters. i haven't seen water this clear and clean. it is not advisable to throw ur rubbish in any part of the islands... For 1500 pesos, you get to ride a motorized boat to visit Hagonoy, Naked and Boslon Islands. Hagonoy is the best of the 3 for me because it offers the most areas for shallow wading and swimming. This is followed by Naked Island. Boslon is just a picture op island because I did not find any swimmable area in it. Britania... More

Its the time of the year that people flocked the beach with family and friends all wanting to get to hop to the islands. We weren't able to book for the resorts pumpboat because the one we contacted eventually did not book for us. So instead we tried looking for one outside the resort and paid php1,500 (its not a... there is this group of islands in surigao del sur that is slowly making waves down south. you can go island hopping for 1,500 and see for yourself how fine the white sand is in naked island which makes the one in boracay pale in comparison. it's that powdery!!! you can never go hungry because resort owners offer the freshest... The best-kept secret of the province. It will instantly give you an impression that it is an untouched destination. Crystal clear waters, fine powdery sand, pure solitary experience. It was never crowded as we were lone wanderers in every island/islets we visit.

Britania Group of Islands is a best destination for vacation. It is located in the Britania, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. These islands are comparable if not more beautiful than any other island in Asia. Here you can savor the very fresh sea foods on earth. Swimming is not dangerous as the contour of the sea bed is plain to... More

One of the country's newer destinations. Go on a boat trip to visits several islands. You will get limestone outcrops with vegetation, white sandy beaches, another with a stretch of coconut trees swaying in the breeze, and one with just blinding white sand. Marvelous! Visit these island before the horde arrives.
