1676 Buried here 1053 are unidentified!! It was a fierce area of the battle. Donald Bell who won the VC and was the 1st Professional Footballer to enlist in 1914 is at peace here.

Visited the cemetery to celebrate 100 years since my relative, great uncle Albert Roy Tempany No 955 Australian 103rd Howitzer Battery was killed at age 18. Cemetery is situated off the Road but easy walk. Nice view of Sausage Valley in distance
