This was a pleasant and comprehensive tour of an old but still operational rice mill and company store preceded by an interesting slide show. The tour was fascinating largely due to the dynamic and expert docent who was expert and entertaining. The store was a...More

Very interesting place to visit. Total facility is operated by just 14 people. On historic registry so all the equipment is "as used" from years past. Store has many products and gluten free products I had not seen elsewhere. Tour guide very knowledgeable and friendly....More

If you are visiting the nearby attraction of the Tabasco factory take some time to stop here. There is a small tour into the factory after a well done video presentation. The Company Store is full of Konriko products as well as locally made crafts...More

It isn't cheap but we buy several large burlap bags when we visit. Then we keep it in the freezer to keep it fresh and keep any possible critters from hatching. The flavor is so good it is worth it.

My review is for the Company Store and not the "mill". There are many souvenier and food items to take home with you. There is also the opportunity to taste several of the products available for purchase. If you do not live in Louisiana this...More

We drove down from Lafayette on Labor, happy to find it open, unlike other attractions in the area. We tasted products and shopped in the immaculate company store. Then we were treated to a personalized mill tour. The short, but informative tour includes a video...More

This wasn't on our original to see list, but glad we stopped. The video gives more of a cajun history than the rice history, but informative. The tour was interesting, and the store is really nice. There was a sample of rice and seasonings. We...More

We didn't tour the mill, but the video and clerk in the store (Dinelle) told us what we wanted to know about rice and this area of the country. Sampled saffron rice and bought some Wild Pecan rice along with some seasonings. We enjoyed friendly...More
